Ken graduated from Auckland University with two degrees, a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and an Honours degree in Law. Ken was admitted to the Bar in 1993 and has now had thirty years of legal experience. He uses this experience for the total benefit of his clients. Endeavoring to receive timely, cost effective wins.
Ken's focus for the last ten years, has been in civil litigation. Undertaking work in all courts and judicial authorities, including the Court of Appeal, High Court, District Court, Employment Court, Employment Relations Authority, and Weather Tight Homes Authority.
Ken is also a Leadr trained mediator and has attended many mediation's in the roles of mediator, applicant or respondent counsel.
Prior to taking up law Ken was involved in the building industry, which has resulted in a focus on construction law.
Prior to focusing on civil litigation, Ken was the senior commercial and commercial property partner at Davenports West in Auckland. His specialist areas of practice included, large land subdivisions. Ken presented a seminar on 'Adding Value to Complex Land Subdivisions' to 600+ lawyers throughout New Zealand in 2000.
Also in the last ten years Ken has been involved in a number of large and serious criminal trials, including murder, attempted murder, manslaughter and vehicular manslaughter, aggravated assault, abduction and rape.
